The Everett AquaSox are the Class-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The “E” trident design was derived from the throwback Mariners “M” trident. Everett is just up the road from Seattle and it was difficult to pass up a simplistic solution like turning the trident on it’s side to make an “E”.
