After Round 1, we went deep with the concepts that the team liked. Honing the moon concept was fun. I think the 1/2 moon concepts are cool but they kinda look like the moon mascot from McDonalds. Remember that guy? In the “ASHEVILLE” wordmark you can see the craftsman architectural styles that are prevalent in the Asheville area. That was fun to create.

Chris – It was a “Hobo” reference that I remembered from somewhere. Don’t really recall the specifics. I think it is one of those classic cartoon stereotypes. I always love those.
TIMbo – I agree that the bear is a classic. It makes me happy that it’s still available out there. But to us, the in game experience at the game is more fun and youthful than the bear. Mr. Moon really captures the fun “summer camp/campfire” experience in Asheville.
