Lets dig into T.J. Monteiro’s Boogiemen! This was a One-and-doner if I recall correctly. And what a one-n-Doner it was. I love this concept. Not only is a great design, but it’s funny and a perfect fictional team name. When we first started opening up the Clink Room to collaborations this is exactly the type of designs we hoped to get.
Here are some of T.J.’s inspirations.

T.J. was also inspired by this classic from MC Shan. “Hip hop was set out in the dark They used to do it out in the park.”
Tomorrow, T.J.’s epic sketches. And I mean it, epic.

And thursday the hat ???
I also love this concept… Can’t wait !!!
Proud of the young man for making it happen. Looking forward to Thursday possible drop.
And Thursday the hat!
omg so much solid here… mc shan, ghostbusters, final fantasy??!!?!!
way to go
Oh, no..

It’s really epic! Let’s dance!
Awesome!
Another hat from one of my favorite Clink designers, cant wait to see the sketches.
Jason and Casey : Speaking of sketches left on the drawing board, is this your ideas? It would be great to see some of these “What If?” caps (GhostRiders, Richmond Rhinos) available in the Clink Store a la the Blind Cave Shrimp! http://www.ballparkdigest.com/201207095159/at-the-ballpark/the-front-office/aces-to-play-what-if-taking-field-as-ghost-riders
Thanks, peeps. Yeah I had an host of inspirations for this concept,
Wild Style being a pivotal hip hop film, old school. On the same level, was taking Grandmaster Flash and his contributions to the craft into account.
In terms of character, I looked at both the genies from Aladdin and the Ghostbusters logo as something to shoot for in terms of fun, and personality. Then going on to the Mombomb from FFIV, that battle stood out because of the expressionless glare of the monster being something that I felt I wanted to capture too.
Awesome stuff. I must have this hat. It just represents so much of me.
