Check these sketches that we did for the Toledo Bullfrogs Arena Football team. Designing for a football team has an extra challenge to it. It needs to fit and look great on a helmet as well as hats and tees. Into that target/dragonfly/”T”.
Wow, these are great. It took me a while to see the dragonfly one, but the concept for it is SOLID! The bottom “speed” frog, reminds me of a train. I like the mystery in the first frog drawing. Very nice work!

I like the running/jumping frog, but I’m betting the owners said it wasn’t “footbally” enough, or some junk.

i really like the first one.waiting beneath the water for the right occasion…but, perhaps not ,,muscular,,enough for a football team….
but defnatly the best one of the 3 logos
These are great – one request though – not all of these teams are very well known – would it be possible to also put the final design into these posts? I like seeing where things ended up as well.
Thanks!

Love these, but of course my opinion is biased. It was a blast seeing these logos grow into the final concepts. Can’t wait until they actually see the field! Keeping my fingers crossed. If anyone is interested in the final designs, check http://www.toledobullfrogs.com.
The one on the bottom would look awesome on a football helmet! It kind of reminds me of the Denver Broncos helmet insignia.
According to their website, it looks like they want a forest-green, black, and orange color scheme. I can only see the frog being green with the black outline (with red tongue action), so I guess that only leaves it on an orange helmet? I think it would work!
I can also see a green helmet with those beady eyes on the brow and an orange “T” on the side(s).
That top sketch has great movement to it. Plus a nice sense of mystery.
Great sketch.
